You've made the assumption that the artists agree with you that the music in
question is great (or even worth hearing).
Given all the changes in style and direction that have been mentioned, would
it really surprise you if some of those older outfits were at best apathetic
about people hearing their old material?
*shrug* Anyway, this is all entirely hypothetical... this list aren't the
people who need convincing.
