I laughed when I saw the predicted Bjork titles, and I don't even hate her that much. In fact, she's welcome to come over any time as long as she doesn't sing. Goldie and Tricky don't sound anything like music to me. It's great if other people get chills when they hear it, though. Please don't kick anyone off the list. Opposing opinions can free us from our dogma (says me). And now for some IDM content - The "High Performance" comp on Instinct is much better than one could expect, maybe because the artists are from Hydrogen Dukebox and not Instinct. Dubby with sections of d'n'b-type rhythms (though much less busy), it's amazingly cohesive. If I hadn't heard it was the work of "various artists" (the liner notes were missing) I would have thought it was one group. The CD itself has a cool diffraction grating pattern on the top that makes trippy rainbows, maaaaaaaan. There's a very unlikely percentage of Gils here. NP: plaid - not for threes (It's probably been mentioned 6 times by now that the plaid logo can be read upside down - I've been tuned out for a while, and the silence was exquisite.)
