Just got the Mr. Oizo CD today, thanks to those who recommended it...
someone mentioned "prominent basslines" I think, quite an understatement,
BASS distorted as I like it all the way through I would say, bassy
analog(ish?) leads sweeping from minimal to frantic and back, good hiphop
beats. Simple, but it does it for me! Simplicity CAN be a virtue in music
and it all comes together here. I've given this two full listens already and
I'll have to say it's the best record I've gotten since Interstellar
Fugitives or Public Energy No. 1.
