Works well without too much audible loss.
??? Well, converting an MP3 to a WAV-file will give you exactly the same "loss" as playing the MP3... the loss with MP3 happens when you compress audio data, not when you decompress it - given that your MP3 player's not too shabby... And yes, WinAmp's really nice for converting from MP3 to WAV - then you can use almost any CD writing software to etch the songs on a disc... :) (Just be wary of those programs that insist on writing a gap between tracks...) -- Kurt B Pruenner Haendelstrasse 17 4020 Linz/AUSTRIA http://www.mp3.com/Leak np: Plone - Bibi Plone (For Beginner Piano) WARP Records http://www.warprecords.com/ BUZZ 1&2 http://www.buzz2.com/ User Friendly http://www.userfriendly.org/ Segfault http://www.segfault.org/ Anime On DVD http://www.animeondvd.com/ Slashdot http://www.slashdot.org/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
