im not just rocking the boat for no reason here, but...
off-topic doesnt necessarily mean totally irrelevant. its not irrational to
think that you might find help about something thats already on a
record-label site by asking the members of an electronic music list, for
example, or (i cant remember who posted that) help on which game console to
choose for the kids, because youd figure at least one or two
'trainspotters' (ugh) would have a game's system.
besides, the query 'clear records' ran on hotbot, altavista, yahoo and
excite returns stuff about unofficial pages, distributor pages, mail order
pages etc... but nothing about the official site. search engines have a lot
of info to digest, therefore they take longer to include brand new sites,
so its not like everybody's first reflex is to ask the list.
btw, i really like your beta squarepusher page (honest)...
