IDM is and isnt dance music....its all subjective....
a couple years ago i was at a party...it was late and only a few people
were left...
my friends and i were feeling happy from the vodka we were drinking all
nite...
we're dancin around to some techno...all of a sudden my friend blasts
in "i care
because you do"....and we start goin ape shit...we abandoned all
conventional
methods and motions of dancing and just let our bodies go
freak..rolling on
the ground...moshing...doing anything and everything....
IDM's objective I feel, surpasses the the notion of dance music...it
exists and is taken in
on a broader level....but of course if one choses to dance to jiri
ceiver...let him be....
