Plus, you can do nifty things with tape like get a bass loop going by making
the record skip over the tape and get back into the same groove. Then you can
play bass by messing with the speed controls. The best part of Battle Sounds
was the explanations of all the different styles of scratches and stuff. Plus
Q-Bert explaining how he's "Just a big biter" of everybody else's tricks. Oh,
and the guy who won competitions because he was able to play "Mary has a
little Lamb" with the pitch control. He then graduated to Led Zep's
Ironmannow that's *quality* djing ;-). Or the guy who won DMC by doing a
handspin on the turntable... Forget it-just see the damn movie. Any info on
availability to the general public?
