i think my favorite piece of equipment is a computer. when it comes down
to it, it's an infinite soundbank of ideas. for someone just wanting to
recreate the music they hear in their head or out in the universe, it's
perfect. almost any COMPOSITION can be achieved with a computer.
however when it comes to live performances, you gotta have samplers and
something to trigger them with....
as for other hardware.. the next 2 pieces of equipment on my list are a
NORD MICROMODULAR and a YAMAHA A series sampler. i don't think i'd want
anything else for a long time.
