I've got a sleeveless promo of the Plaid album that came with a very minimal press release that makes no mention of the vocalists, and I recognized the vocalist as Bjork right away. She's got a pretty distinctive voice. While I have no problem with her vocals (or any other vocals on the album), I'd have to argue it being a "stroke of genius". It's a good album, pleasant to listen to, but not nearly as breathtaking as everyone seemed to be expecting. But then again, I've never been a BDP/Plaid fanboy. Hell, I don't even own Bytes or Spanners! Greg np - Console "Panaorama" (Payola) - now you wanna talk genius, check out this label! If I find some time this weekend, I'll try to write up a review of their releases so far (6 12"s, 2 CDs, and a compilation CD that's not really on the label, but... well, you'll see...). I didn't think Dot would have any competition for my Label Of The Year, but now I'm not so sure...
