Finally got cubase VST yesterday...going mad trying to figure out how to use it with recycle. It's pretty dope, all things considered. A bit touchy and you can't really do everything you can do with outboard gear, but it's nice to have it on the pc in my kitchen to fuck with ideas, samples, etc. Kind of looks to me like the future is all this shit in one box... rebirth (emulation of analogue synthesis) Cubase (midi + multi-track recording sampling + effects + eq) And programs like that weird algorithmic stuff the drunkman was talking about a while back, like doing gaussian blurs and shit to samples. But really, nothing can compare to twiddling knobs on a goofy old analogue synth... word to the mothership, brock, who's happy to be making noise, any way he can! :-) np: still SAW I...
