First off, I hadn't really thought about the fact that those TVT/Wax Trax
symbols were on CDs that I have actually purchased! Oh, well.
Some people think that indy-pendence is more important than other people. I
have mixed feelings. Since I buy most of my records on smaller labels, it's
something I don't have to think about.

Who are you to say? The people who came up with this policy (I didn't) may not
be, but (I think) it's a pretty good one, considering that music on major
labels does get airplay in other places (major radio) and we're trying to give
some exposure to the little peoples aka independents.
There've been internal arguments over this policy since we instituted the it,
but we're trying to do something different, and for our "underground" format
shows, we don't play major labels. Exceptions are made for "specialty" shows,
so whether it's on a major or not, if I think something rocks and needs
exposure, I'll play it. (btw, I play idm-related stuff -- who would have guessed).

Again, I didn't make this policy but I think that it's a good one. I opened a
can of worms by mentioning the policy without explaining it.
I would not start w/ me about "forward thinking". I've played stuff that a lot
of "open-minded" music types won't even give a chance; one's noise is
another's sandpaper bubblebath.

Wouldn't you like to know!
We have a few around and are playing _Work Non Work_ quite a bit, now. Too bad
we never got the Radio Mix cd; we would have played that, I'm sure.
