I was in London a couple of weeks ago, and I picked up some test pressings of Metamatics EP03 and EP04. A while back there was a discussion about why clear said nothing about the release of the Metamatics CD until after the 4 eps were released. Anyway, with these test pressings came a a4 sheet of paper explaining what the releases were, where they were coming from, where they intended to go and that they were part of a series of 4 eps to be released on a CD. If anyone wants the text of these, I can type them in. Oh, and I've just recently gotten hold of the Skampler, and I must say I am really impressed with it. I hadn't heard much off it before ( it's very hard to get Skam releases in Ireland ), and after hearing Skampler I'm determined to pick up as much of their stuff as I can. BTW, thanks to everyone for recomending record shops in London. I found Sister Ray and Selectadisc to be great. Towards the end of the holiday I went in to Sister Ray to do one last scoop there. I had about 20 quid in my pocket and found myself in a terrible dilema. Standing there with 23 12s in my hand desperatly trying to shortlist it down to 4... argh.... np: Monomorph - Subject To Electronic Control. -hjw When nations grow old, the arts grow cold and commerce settles on every tree. -William Blake
