I can't remember where I got the info from, but I was aware the time
I picked up the first Metamatics EP on promo (you smug git :) ) that it
was part of a series which was going to be released on CD in time.
I don't believe Clear were trying to rip people off, maybe you just can't
get the information you need out in the boondocks (or the USA as its
more commonly known :)

IDM is not a representative market sample. These records may be sought
after here but in the outside world lets face it, noone gives a shit. Maybe
these companies could press up an IDM edition and sell an extra hundred
copies to us, but the actual market for these little records is miniscule.
Maybe releasing records in limited editions actually increases
sales for these guys by creating a little hype?
In any case these tunes are still pretty easy to find in England despite
their limitedness. Does this proove my point?
