you wrote (as a counterargument perhaps against Tom. J.): Listen to T-Power's 'the self evident....' released in 1995.... This album is totally overrated. Mediocre at best. Super predictable (and OVERused) samples, (Let's see, we've got Conan, Bugs Bunny, and oh yeah don't forget the obligatory 'cool' Bladerunner sample), no method to the madness regarding the drum programming (ie gets annoying after the first few tracks), and if you are implying TJ's jazz fusion skills are inferioir to Tpower's (and coming later and thus not as innovative), well that's just plain nonsense. The record just doesn't flow. And some records (in the experimental dnb side) aren't supposed to flow, like AFX's fungle, but I think Tpower's trying to flow, but failing. peace Nate Nate Harrison Digital Magician Inc. www.digimagician.com nate@digimagician.com 313.994.7316
