This was never a pet peeve of mine, but it is now! DJ's should be required
to dance/ cheerlead during other DJ's sets. It sets an example for everyone
else.
I was at an outdoor public soundlab event this weekend (thanks sam) and all
the boys were sitting on one side and all the girls sitting on the other.
The music was pumpin (DJ Spooky played a hot set, too!) and some of the
Chinatown vendors and local homeless people were dancing, and a few kids
were having fun, but again, dead dead dead. It looked like a high school
dance.
