Screw that idea. People who want to stand around or sit to electronic
music (ambient aside) should be listening to Vangelis or Yanni. The whole
reason I became interested in techno is that it is a hell of a lot more fun
to move to than industrial or alternative. If artistic acceptance means
standing around then I'm happy listening to the trash that has a decent
beat.

Hear hear. The solution is a lack of weiners in the scene who can't dance.
One of my pet peeves are DJs who stand around watching the other DJs
instead of dancing. The first time I saw the Orb, Thrash maniacally danced
in the audience while Alex DJ'd after the show. That is the way it should
be. Bring on the ridiculous outfits.
