I'd say Rough Trade at Talbot Rd., just off Portobello.
Not too expensive, very friendly stuff, great selection
and their catalogue, usu updated, is at

and I remember a few other stores at Portobello Road, smaller and more
genre-focused tho (mostly dubbish stuff), plus some used stuff at
the same area (Notting Hill Gate tube/subway)
..and I don't work for them :-)
