i have mixed feelings about this....on one hand i don't think the prodigy
and chem bros are creating some of the better techno...i think most people
on this list are aware of more intelligent music than this out there....but
what about their sales?
the prodigy's new album is the fastest selling cd ever....even faster than
michael jackson's thriller....i think it's great that more and more people
are catching on.....the prodigy and chem bros. might not be very deep but
at least they are creating techno for public consumption....not everyone is
ready for the obscure....the one problem, those people who appreciate good
intelligent music but are only exposed to the prodigy and chem bros. may
assume that techno is annoying and empty b/c they haven't been exposed to
the really interesting stuff
any comments???
