The Amen break is taken from the song "Amen Brother" by The Winstons. I finally heard the original on a breakbeat record at a local DJ shop. The song has an upbeat 60s r&b feel w/horns and all. But about 2/3 of the way through everything stops and the drummer goes into the break that anyone who's listened to jungle has heard-- except it'll sound slow to you. Punch it up to 45rpm (or so) and then your ears will prick up. Just found a breakbeat site with a sample. http://www.loknet.demon.co.uk/leech/breakbeats.html I'm sure if you did a search for breakbeats you'll find more. Howie
