I can't disagree more. I found this record to be one of the deepest things I'd heard in a long time, in that style. Bukem I'd compare it to, but Bukem tracks seem not as well produced (i.e. super mid-rangey and no use of stereo) and on the whole boring. Photek is nothing like Bukem in my experience, much more jagged and minimal than Bukem, and more interesting. And Boymerang seems to be a polar opposite of the No U Turn style, which is rough, dark and agressive. So that's two data points for you poor punters to work with before you drop $25 on another import CD.
