First off, I have to say I have a couple of reviews in this issue of Urb,
take that as you will. (and no, I didn't crib out of old issues of Muzik -
I merely restated label press releases...) =)
I think you're reading a bit finely. The only close similarity is the 'do
the math' phrase - everything else is pretty much what you'd expect in an
opening paragraph on any article - the most basic, general information.
Urb's not fantastic, but no scene mag I've read is. Urb seems to try and
cover the entire underground dance music scene, from reggae to hip-hop to
techno to jungle, which is a wide range keep a handle on. It seems that all
dance music magazines have deficiencies in one area or another, however.
Hmm, actually Immerse seemed pretty cool, but I've only seen one issue -
not enough to judge by.
