Planet Dog Records has some good stuff and some not so good stuff..
By that I mean that Children of the Bong, some Banco de Gaia,
and a little bit of Eat Static are IDM (esp CotB).. But a lot
of their stuff is more trancey. For a good sampler of their
artists, get their compilation Transmissions from the Planet Dog.
It has 5 Eat Static tracks, 4 Banco de Gaia, 5 Timeshard, and 3
CotB.
What's up with their label? --What do you want to know?
In the booklet from Transmission there is a biography of
the record company and all of the artists on the cd, but
I won't type that up ;) It was started by a guy named Michael Dog,
I'll tell ya that much...
