Couldn't resist this. I'm in South America and have heard (and own albums)
of all three mentioned. There is a bit of a scene here, but it's very
small. I think you'd probably find people in Buenos Aires as well, but
outside of that I have my doubts.
As to the point made, there is definitely more to the world than the US
and the UK. Dandy Jack is a fairly good example of this. Uwe Schmidt seems
to share this opinion as well. The last time he played here there were
actually people queuing up to get in. I think things can only improve with
increased decentralisation.
