I'm not sure whether you're being sarcastic here, but anyway... No, it wasn't King Tubby, but it was someone with a respectable reggae pedigree. Unfortunately for me I can't remember who, and most of my reggae tapes are elsewhere at the moment. It was around 1985, I think. Sadly I can no longer listen to Steve Barker's On The Wire very often so my reggae information is rusty. Just to clarify, I'm not referring to fairly recent imitations of dub practised by the likes of Zion Train etc., not that I want to get into an argument about that. adam
