Picked up this release yesterday as well and was presently surprised.

This is a quite decent mix - I was expecting to hear an MBM track with amen in it at some point, and he does a decent job of arranging it. Hope the upcoming MBM remix disc is along these lines as well.

This track does have some cool beats in it (the static-tinged ones), but it really doesn't go anywhere, kind of like a lot of the 'Drum and Bass for Papa' tracks. Still a good mix though.

I have to agree with Jon here, this is a nice track - at least the first parts of it. The industrial-sounding part of the track annoys me, but the beginning and amen portion are excellent. Here's why: the AFX-sounding bit at the beginning keeps on going when the amen comes in. This gives the track a sort of rhythmic "anchor" while the hardstep breaks play off of the momentum of the background beat. This is what makes Squarepusher's 'Conumber' enjoyable. Bravo!
