Flexitone are credited on the Planet E comp. 'Elements of and Experiments with Sound' as G. Donald and B. Gillen, though I can't shed any further light on their other connections. I picked up Flexitone's fine 'Rotoreliefs ep' as a blind purchase just because it was on Planet E and I found it most excellent :) It is another very worthwhile purchase if only because it is the trippiest looking record I've ever seen on a turntable B) Rubyjune.
