yawn. why are you lot so belligerent?
the limited edition thing is such a boring arguement. they're limited
to the people that would buy them, (i should have a macro for that
line) do you really belive we could sell more than a couple of
thousand woodenspoons? well if you do you don't know anything about
the current market for this music.
we don't make any more money from limited editions than anything else,
they all have the same dealer prices. just makes things a bit more
interesting.
singles generally don't make money full stop.
i'm here on this list to provide information about warp and answer
sensible questions i'm not a polician warp don't have a manifesto to
hold to, we are accountable to no one but our artists and the inland
revenue.
if you don't like what we do don't buy our records and shut up.
wrt to copyright i'm sure you'd find yourself on the sharp pointy end
of the wrath of any major label if you started pressing CDs and giving
them away.
