Dear IDM'ers,
OFRA HAZA - R. I. P. 23rd February 2000
As you may know, the respected Yemenite artist Ofra Haza
passed away tonight, at 19:40 Israeli time, 23rd February.
She had been in intensive care in Hospital for the last
week or so, suffering from pneumonia.
Ofra was a unique and stunning artist, a voice that was
truly incomparable. I'm sure you'll agree, the world is
a less beautiful place without her.
We felt honoured to have worked with her.
