Neil (DeC) hasn't released anything new in quite some
time, but he never really released much: only a 12" on
his own label (years ago) and a full-length on Ferox (also
years ago), but an old track of his (unreleased, but still
old, but still awesome) appeared on the Transmat
Time:Space CD last year. From what I've been told Neil
is a perfectionist with his material and releases very few
records as a result (making him the exact opposite of
virtually every other producer). This is evident to anyone who's heard
his material as it really is head and shoulders above everyone
else: in the aesthetic realm on the level of Larry Heard, Carl
Craig, John Beltran, Chris Gray or Jamie Read.
