The first band that comes to mind is Spring Heel Jack. They're newish
album, "68 Million Shades..." is a wonderful mix of spacey jungle rhythms
and ethereal melodies.... all sequenced with what must be very expensive
gear, because it sounds so damn crisp!
There's a couple cool drum'n bass tracks on We's debut ("As Is" on
Asphodel) and Sharp Scientific's new 12" rocks my world. Lamb is more
poppy, but still quite beautiful, and Sheep on Drugs... well, hehehe. :)
