This sounds very much like a sample from Bessie Smith, originally recorded
in, ooh, the 1960s.
I couldn't really disagree more with whoever made the positive comment
about the 'stories' in Reload's Collection Of..
I lent this to someone and at first he didn't like the music because the
stories were so bad. They really are awful.
The new Locust single sounds pretty interesting - he gets away with using
what in a more naive age we would call vocals. Even the 808 State mix is
good.
