Maybe it loses something in Real Audio.
If your point is that it isn't anything like the traditional 'icons'
of IDM, I'd grant you. But it is cool, and not, in my opinion simply
EZ-listening.
Tenor's stuff has live instruments, well arranged, in combination with
a variety of synths, drum machines, and more traditional electric keyboards
like the Fender Rhodes and the Hammond B3. Plus vocals.
It's as if a squirrelly finn decided that he was the reincarnation of
Stevie Wonder, and for me it's a nice break from all the people who
figured out that they can run a drum machine through a fuzzbox.
