Lawks - it's a new Reload 12". But bearing not much relation to the
caustic polyrhythms of _A Collection of Short Stories_. _Soaring_ is
the main track - smooth but pretty sparse Detroit techno with a fair
few strings and a bubbly 303 riff. The flip has two versions of the
same track - one in 4/4 time and the other in 6/4 or something - this
one has a similar groove and break as _Le Soleil et la Mer_. A nice
little 12" - and leagues ahead of the big break 'fat tits' or whatever
they just released as those cheekey Jedi Knights. I wish they'd plow
through their back catalogue a bit more.
Sigh.
The new Dan Curtin album on Sublime _Deception_ is fantastic BTW.
