Just picked up WE 's new LP "As Is" (on Asphodel).
Just as I expected, it is beautiful. If you liked the Macro Dub
Infection comps, or the Crooklyn Dub Consortium stuff, then you'll love
WE. It is very carefully orchestrated complex dub with lots of really
rich textures and varieties of beats. It's laid back as a dub record
should be, but somehow it is still potent, vivacious, and even somewhat
epic. Check it out, kids!
