SImon's far too worried about dogmatic compliance with genre standards. if
you aren't a part of the scene or fail to follow the rules, like Plug or
Squarepusher, then fuck you - you're diluting things, not broadening them.
Tis a shame, really - I think Simon would have us listening to the Amen
break until the next "big thing" catches his fancy. He has a way with
words, but also has a bad case of "Critic's Disease", which tends to ruin
it.
