I'm interested in expanding my horizons a bit and check out some new
artists.. These are some of my favorite albums/songs (off the top of my
head).. based on this list, what would you recommend I check out?
Aphex Twin - "4", "Yellow Calx", "Girl/Boy", "Milkman", "Alberto Balsam"
Squarepusher - Feed Me Weird Things album
Orbital - just about everything.. especially Snivilization.
The Orb - Adv. Beyond the Ultraworld, Orblivion
FSOL - "Papua New Guinea", Lifeforms
Young American Primative - "Over and Out" and "Sunrise"
Nightmares on Wax - "Nights Interlude" (the only one of theirs I've heard)
and, of course, everything by the Spice Girls.
Also, I got Autechre's Tri Repetae a couple weeks ago.. I like it pretty
well, but it would be nice if it had a bit of a melody rather than just
drums. Are any of their albums a little more melodic?
