It must be said at this point that despite the amazing recordings
of My Bloody Valentine of years past, Kevin Shields is basically a
tremendous pothead who doesn't get anything done. I'm done waiting
for new MBV records.
Reports have it that other members of the band are doing things like
driving cab, since Kevin has flown up his own ass and been unable to finish
anything.
And everything I've heard from EAR sounds like "Metal Machine Music"
for the 90s. It manages to be boring and irritating at the same time,
like living next to a machine shop where they lathe cut metal.
