A step backwards? Mark 'n Tom are one of the few groups to go
a-wandering through the electronic genres, and more power to them.
They have an obvious love of house, as shown in last years top secret
ingredients eps. Obviously not everyones going to love all their
stuff, but I'm sure they put as much effort into the house tracks as
any of their other stuff. Techno, ambient, electro, jungle, house,
personally I'm waiting for their take on gabber, happy hardcore, and
country & western.

Eon is still going, recently released Phase Test on Electron
Industries in one of those nice clear-blue sleeves with diy label
stickers. I think Baby Ford runs Ifach. The Shamen never really
recovered from losing Will Sinn, although Mr C has a wicked club and
label. Altern-8 disappeared from sight after losing an election (can
anyone remember if it was a local, general, or by), although someone
mentioned that one of them was still going under a different moniker.
