Just for another opinion, I find 2 tracks to be good, most of it I'm not really impressed by. "Jimi Hendrix of the sampler" ? Ah, no.

Um there are a lot of really talented people out there in hip hop deserving of the formemost disciple crown. You're slave era references are a little bit sick IMHO. I know several straight up hip hop guys who don't mind the mo wax stuff at all. They spin some of it in with Payday and Wu Tang and all those small labels I'm not hip to.

Yeah, the stuff is real sparse without the rapping on it. Strictly underground live MPC production. Its put out primarily for djs to spin for freestylers to work over. It was created (and the scratching too) to blend with the presence of the rappers. On the original album (Bulk recs.) delivery is deadpan sci-fi surreal and gynecological. I love the original record. There are numerous other releases in the underground hip hop scene worth checking out, but the Dr. seems to have struck a chord with somehow with those that aren't paying regular attention to that scene (ie. white etc. folx who get most of their info from the media). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chris Sattinger new records coming on : Headspace (UK, feb) , Synewave(mar), Subvoice(Japan, mar), Sativae(?)
