Aaron/ idm: Lighter fluid (the active ingredient of benzyne ) is *the* universal powerhouse cleaner and adhesive remover and will get most any adhesive price tag from any surface. Caution: let one drop absorb into a price tag, wait for it to get gooey and wettish. Then peel it off. Caution 2: Matte finish covers ( or any raw cardboard ) *will* absorb a "wet" spot permanently. So proceed with caution. Caution 3: lighter fluid for cleaning LPs? Unless you are cleaning a really dirty LP with a surface veneer that is very very dirty, lighter fluid *is* evil. Why? It basically removes a top layer surface from the surface it covers, similar to the CD cleaners you can buy. On that note, the "scratch remover" cleaners you can purchase typically do work well but keep in mind that all you're doing is burning a thin layer from the outer skin of the CD. They work but use them gently. Cleaning LPs? : distilled water, a light soap- even dish soap- , and patience. I don't remember the parts ratio. NEVER clean with paper towels, use toilet paper. There is a recipe for using windex which I have used on *really* dirty records but windex is quite abrasive. Another cleaner that works well is made from orange ( as in the fruit not the color ) oils. Its the organic version of lighter fluid and works well. If you're really into it, there are 3-4 recommended record cleaning machines that I could recommend off list. They range from $200-$1000 and produce incredible results. Should be a landmark. Dope.......... But why did'nt "Fuck Rap" get included in the full length?
