One of the best techniques Ive seen and copied since is using standard US Postal Service Priority mail boxes, they are free and VERY sturdy if you turn them inside out! Just slice down one side, and flip it inside out. Take off the tape protectors off the flaps and stick the flaps together after tucking them in and it creates a nice pocket for several records with the stuck-together box flaps acting as reinforcement against bending. You can even use a thin sheet of bubblewrap for extra care and just tape up the only open side of your pocket and mail away - and since its inside out, you dont HAVE to pay priority rates as it just looks like regular cardboard. You may want to take a few boxes home and do it there - When I dont go to my normal Post Office I get strange looks when I do my box surgery onsite. ernie Ernesto Ikerd, (817) 763-4795 Company Graphics, Dept 17, MZ-4202 Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company Fort Worth, Texas --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
