I seriously doubt that coldcut made the video before the audio track,
considering
1. That the video was credited to someone else... and
2. Insects do not make bass drum sounds.
Besides, I would also doubt that even EBN uses "EBN style" anymore.
EBN's sound effects generally come from video samples, although on
Telecommunications Breakdown they appear to have cheated a whole lot and
used drum machines, sequencers, and samplers and stuff. I would guess
that EBN made some rough cuts on video for their performance art stuff,
got a record deal, made songs *based* on their video cuts (but using
regular music equipment), then recut videos to match the final song.
It's impossible to get nice sound out of the crappy videotapes they use
for much of their source material.
