Just found info on this new A-Musik (?) experimental
7" sublabel called Tonschacht. Here are the details on
the first three releases. Some familiar names too:
. Minit: Bootleg 7" (Tonschacht)
After their Sigma release and a succesful European tourn this
Sidney based trio returns with dense electronica based on loops
and samples and deconstructing techno. Flip gives the very
Minit piece from back in 1997, which was released on only 20
copies!
. The New Peculiars: Dance Music 2000 7" (Tonschacht)
Another highly entertaining piece of work from Scott Foust
and Karla Borecky (plus on one track with Gloria & David
Borecky). Two excursions in the field of freefrom improvisation
plus some minimal groove and free noise.
. A.F.R.I. Studios: Roomservice - Part 1, 2 & 3 7" (Tonschacht)
Second release of the Cologne based peoducer Andres Krause
(Bmb Lab). As on his debut he provides here too atmospheric
electtronix, comparable to Meme and Rastermusic. Sinewaves,
narrative loop constructions and linear basic music make this
record so fascinating. Release soon !
