No, it's not. Generally, men and women are very different creatures. But I would like to say, for what it's worth, I lived a large amount of my life on one of the more downtrodden council estates in Manchester, and still live in a pretty crap part of the city (but then again, what part of Manchester *isn't* crap?). My most prized possession is my record collection, which I have built from scratch on the dole - I've sacrificed a lot for it. I search boot sales for children's toy drum machines and cheap musical castoffs, and try to make interesting music with them alongside my computer. Sometimes I view people who buy 909 drum machines as having much more money than sense! Four people could, given the amount of money a 909 costs, make utterly innovative and much more interesting music than one 909-bashing android. Something grotesquely extravagant like a 32-channel desk could fund scores of people's setups. So, to make a point, it's not about what you have, it's your ideas. But those with a good job, or benevolent parents, are obviously better equipped to make and distribute music. Money doesn't talk, it shouts. I hope that some time soon I will have the resources to make records, and I can show you all how it should be done..

Because people with no money don't have the time, resources or inclination to indulge themselves.

No it doesn't. Why should it?

I bought this on a 24K Gold CD Remaster Collector-Bumph-Reissue couple of weeks ago, what enjoyable and refreshing music! On Now? 12AM - Laurent X
