Won't argue with any of the Poll results, but I would like to cast my
vote for a return to the old polling format. I sort of miss having
the top 20 or so albums listed in the results rather than a ranking
of nominees (and boy, did some rank...j/k :-). Without the list,
there's little chance to identify those gems I may have missed during
the year. Also, for someone like myself, who had very few selections
show up as nominees, the 2nd phase was pretty unexciting.
