Where did anyone get the idea that "electronica" was synonymous with IDM.
Surely American radio isn't going to start spinning arhythmic stuff like
squarepusher et al, but theres a lot of "rave" type stuff that would play well.
Americans loved Stock, Aiken and Waterman and even early coldcut offshoots
like Yaz and Lisa Stansfield, so maybe this is just another round of boogie
fever.
