} There seems to be a lot of healthy interest in Skam Records at the } moment. Such a pity a lot of their releases are hard to come by. } Anyway, can anyone out there recommend labels (preferably } UK-based) that are releasing similar stuff? (Warp, R&S and Rephlex } aside.) I love all that Autechre/Gescom stuff -- there's got to be } more people out there tapped into the same wavelength. Somewhat similar to Gescom and Autechre is the music of Bisk. Bisk's CD is on Sub Rosa, I believe. It had the same sense of experimentation and texture, but it didn't quite develop as well as Autechre's stuff, so I didn't buy the CD. Anyway, you might want to at least check it out... | E r i c | [mail] franse@engr.arizona.edu | | F r a n s | [web] http://intermix.engr.arizona.edu/~franse |
