I prefer to see *our* music mixed in the rest of popular music, rather than
ghetto-ized with the crystals 'n' beads pseudo-worldbeat crap. Global
Communications next to Garbage makes much more sense. We're talking about a
form of pop music here, with intentions of selling to the general public,
not just to people who want to somehow show they're down with the Navajos.
Mixing it in with New Age just muddies the waters. It's not quite Rock, Pop
or Soul, but it is most definitely not New Age, either.
