The new M. Harris / J. Plotkin album (which I forget the name of, but
it's on Asphodel- real droney)
Bill Laswell / Nick James Bullen- Bass Terror (on Sub Rosa / Subsonic)-
Bullen was the other half of Scorn pre-Gyral before he + Harris had a
spat. This is a split album and his two tracks are damn near amazing!
Two real dark hip-hop Scorn-style jams clocking in around 18 mins.
apiece! Makes me wanna go kill my neighbors! (Actually, I always want
to go kill my neighbors...)
Also there's some unreleased Scorn tracks on a Sub Rosa comp. called
"Ancient Lights and the Blackcore"- It's also got cool shit by Seefeel,
Dj Cheb I Sabba + Timothy Leary(!?)
There's also some other, early out-of print Scorn stuff on Earache- The
titles are "Lick Forever Dog" and "Vae Solis"- Good luck finding 'em.
And if you're a crazed completist like me, you'll have to get the first
couple of Napalm Death-albums with Harris on drums!
