This is bollocks. We don't export Aphex directly to the US in *any* case - Sire/Warner is our Aphex licensee there, so we can't export into their territory. We get paid for every Aphex record Sire/Warner sell. Unfortunately however Sire/Warner have never really been able to release simultaneously, because a) they have to fit it into their release schedule b) they take much longer to release records from receipt of a master. It's as simple as that. Incidently WEA Japan have put in a real effort and are releasing near simulateously in Japan (in a few weeks) - and we're really happy about this. They are also releasing a compilation of Aphex single tracks (various from On, Ventolin and Donkey Rhubarb). g.
